Let's Take a Break!

And when I say take a break, I mean it.

It's been almost 3 years since my last post and a LOT has changed. While I may not have learned much more about technology, I have learned that kindergarten teachers can transition just fine to being the school principal. My school needed someone to step into the position, and since I love my school so much I agreed. The Waldorf kindergarten teacher doesn't only work with children, they work closely with parents and other teachers. Working with adults was something I already enjoyed and sought to do. I also found it fun to work with students of all ages. This change was a natural progression in my journey as an educator. I'm honored to be able to serve our community in this way.

And I miss music being part of my workday.

I recently had a conversation with one of my kindergarten teachers and realized the need to keep sharing music for the early childhood still is there. When she shared that it was difficult to find the resources for a wide range of music, I recalled my little blog project here. This could be a way to bring a bit of music back to weekly life.

So I'm going to work on it. Work on sharing my music, sharing my thoughts. I have more than music in mind, so while I may taken a long break between the last two posts, I have another ready to come out much sooner. Thoughts beyond music. Still ideas to help our Waldorf movement. And no matter what, I'm always open to music, sharing a song and singing along.
